Server-side EOW components are very lightweight and extremely lean, specially on Windows and Linux Application Servers. Comparing to the competition, in some cases it’s possible to observe a 5 times reduction in product-specific performance overhead.
Nearly all of the servers resources are left available for session processing, handling, management and support (in case of Gateway, Session Manager, Web Client, DSM, etc.). Application Servers specifically (both Windows and Linux) have very lean EOW components, leaving nearly all of the server resources for session streaming and specially for application execution, minimizing the need for extra resource allocation.
